Happy Turn-up Fashion Tuesday sewing family! I take it everyone had a great weekend filled with loads of creative energy and fabulous sewing projects. I was so pleased to read all of your encouraging comments regarding my design concepts for my new studio; I truly believe I have the best sewing family out there! I can’t wait to share the finished results with all of you but don’t be surprised if I change things up a bit before its all said and done. There's so much preparation that goes into this project but I feel like I’m going to burst at the seams with excitement at any moment cause I just want to get in there NOW! Unfortunately my hubby won’t let me in to do my thing until everything construction wise is complete. I swear I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve who knows something great is sitting right in front of you under the tree but you have to wait because its not time yet! UGHH Just walking out and looking at it knowing I can’t get started is like torture to my soul!LOL So to take my mind off of what I really want to do I got back to the sewing grind and started working on more of my Visions of Red for Fall.
Okay so before I share this look with you I'm going to let you in on a little secret. This particular project was initially going to be a part of the Nina Ramel collection for this coming Fall 2015. However due to delays that were simply out of my control I may have to re-think my release date along with some of the pieces I will eventually offer for sale. Don’t despair family I haven’t given up and I will make it happen but it has to be done right or I simply won’t do it at all. So while I keep grinding away with other options for the line I decided to share this ensemble we previously drafted for the collection with all of you today. I truly love the versatility and simplicity of this Red ensemble.
The great thing about this look is the pieces can be paired together or styled separately with other items you already have in your closet. The bottoms are a fit and flare style and the top a long Turtleneck with high split meant to expose the fabulous curves of real women. Both items drafted specifically for the Nina Ramel Collection months ago so unfortunately I do not have commercial pattern numbers to share with you today. Sshhhhh I’ll let you in on a little secret I’m working on that too (remember that’s between us LOL). The Fabric used is a fabulously Red Ponte Knit that I purchased from my favorite fabric house Angel Textiles in Downtown Los Angeles. Of course trying to get more of this vibrant red textile may prove impossible as they tend to sell out rather quickly after my posts! LOLLL YEAHHH! Of course they’re not the only one’s to sell fabulous red ponte knits but when you find one that you love at a great price it’s hard to accept anything else. I absolutely love how everything turned out with this pattern and I hope it inspires you to get your visions of Red juices flowing for Fall as well. Well loves I have so much fabulousness flowing around in my head that I have to get back to work (corporate) so I can make it all happen!LOLLL Until next time have a great rest of the week an remember whatever you do make it COUNT!
Hugs
