Good Monday morning beautiful people! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend filled with relaxation and creativity and now you're ready to grind it out this week. As for me I had to come into the office for most of the day on Saturday which left me very little time to do anything else but try and get some rest on Sunday. The good thing is I actually had a project that I finished last week so it gave me a chance to catch my breath and focus on a few other things. Last week I shared a few sneak pics of this fabulous fabric which everyone absolutely loved and I have to admit so do I! This fabric is sooooooo yummy that I could actually kick myself for not buying more when I had the chance. Oh well that simply means that I will have to keep this beauty for myself no sharing this one! So to my sisters, cousins, aunts and friends save your breath I'm not giving this to you! LOL
I don't know if you've been paying attention but the commercial patterns for spring/summer have been GREAT! I have to say I've been pleasantly surprised with the range and options being offered that can actually work for everyone (no matter your size). Not only can you enjoy them in their raw form but you can also tweak them a ton of different ways making it fit into your own personal style statement. So when you have to make things happen in a pinch and you just don't have time to create your own pattern from scratch, working with these beauties will definitely do the trick. Last week I decided to create this cute little wrap top with one of Simplicity's Summer releases that I absolutely LOVE! This pattern is so easy that no matter your skill set you should be able to knock it out in no time. I actually ordered a few more of their new releases and do suggest that you look beyond what you see on the cover (crop tops, belly showing etc. LOL) and check out the various options each pattern provides. Again this pattern is completely stress free and a great option for those of us who just don't have a whole lot of time to spare. Check out the pattern and fabric info listed below and stay tuned for more fabulousness coming to the blog soon! Until next time sewing loves SMOOCHES!

Fabric: I purchased this stretch cotton blend from Michael Levine's in Downtown Los Angels. I haven't been able to find it on their website but that doesn't mean it's not there and I somehow missed it! I will be traveling their this week sometimes and will let you know if I find it!
Happy Sewing!
