Good Morning Loves I hope all is well with my sewing family. I’m having such an awesome time getting my studio ready, working on some new ideas and moving forward with the Nina Ramel Collection. I’ll be honest at one point I didn’t think the collection was going to happen but hey you know what they say “Anything worth having is worth fighting for.” So family that’s what I’m doing fighting and pressing forward with the dream! Keep your fingers crossed and say a couple of prayers for me as I work to make this thing happen.
Now let’s move on to what I’m sharing with you today! Last week while cleaning out my pattern cabinets I realized just how many of these darn things I have! Seriously family I think I have a problem and I need help! I will probably never use the majority of them but man they sure are fun to look at and reminisce about.
Anyhoo as I sat in the middle of the floor sorting through them I ran across this cute little jacket pattern with a note attached to it. One of my sewing loves asked me ages ago how I would style this jacket and what I would actually pair with it. Of course I answered her right away but I never thought twice about making it for myself. Well that is until this past weekend when I thought what the heck. I mean it’s easy as pie, won’t take but a minute and after the previous sewing weekend I had I could use an easy pick-me up.
The jacket is a really easy McCalls pattern (listed below) and the pants were drafted specifically for the Nina Ramel Collection (which you may remember from the visions in red look). I would definitely recommend this jacket pattern to anyone short on time but wants to create something easy and chic. So that's going to do it for me today family; I hope you all have a great rest of the work week and a fabulously creative weekend.
Hugs
Shari
