Hello Sewing family Happy Tuesday! This week I’m away on business and won’t be able to sew or complete any projects to share with you here on the blog. I do however have something just as fab to share with you this week that I think you will enjoy.  Due to the great response from last weeks “Freshen Up Your Wardrobe Series” I’ve decided to keep it going with two more videos from last weeks looks. In this weeks videos I’ll cover how to remove the dart from Butterick 6400, show how I added horsehair braid to a circle skirt and lastly I completed my first ever live sew session featuring Burda 6764.

Now I have to tell you trying to film a sewing session by yourself is more than a notion!! Just when I thought I had the perfect segment done, the dog started barking, the kids knocked on the door of my studio and I accidentally kicked the stand shaking the camera and ruining the entire scene UGH! Yes family it was like watching a sketch from Saturday Night Live only funnier! You’ll be happy to know I made it through, finished taping and have some fun tips to share with you as a result.  So enjoy the video FAM and I’ll check in with you later in the week for video two.
