Happy hump day lovelies, I hope you’re having a wonderfully productive week.  The weather in California is crazy right now; one day it’s in the high 90’s with little relief from the sun and the next day it’s cloudy with a chance of rain!  Despite the fact that our weather has been a little unstable to say the least, this hasn't stopped me from preparing my wardrobe for the impending summer heat that we Californians are accustomed too.

This past weekend I purchased several yards of beautiful prints and lightweight fabrics that should get me through my summer sewing in style!  My plan for the summer is to incorporate soft textures and beautiful prints with bright colors into my current wardrobe. I look forward to experimenting with prints, patterns and colors in a way that will convey my personal style without me ever having to utter a word!
