The thing about the basics is they don't really change - it's the details and the proportions that change. The shirt may be cut slimmer, the suit might be darker or lighter, the sneakers may not have laces, but you're still talking about shirts, suits and sneakers.

Good Monday morning Lovelies! I hope you had a wonderfully productive weekend filled with Family, love and all around good times. For me being able to put the woes of the week behind me and love on those around me is what makes life truly enjoyable. Despite the fact that everything that could go wrong with technology for me this weekend did go wrong I choose to approach this week with joy in my heart in anticipation of great things!
I realize that sometimes things will occur that cause you to refocus your attention on areas in your life and or business that you’ve inadvertently been neglecting. In lieu of not being able to work on my videos and DIY’s this weekend as planned I decided to focus my attention on practicing my draping skills. While I love to drape I must admit I haven’t put much time into honing my craft and taking my skills to the next level. Consequently not having the necessary equipment to work on my tutorials this weekend actually worked to my benefit by forcing me to get back to basics.
Instead of actually sewing garments as I usually do on Saturday’s I focused my attention on constructing and tweaking certain design elements that I haven’t draped for quite some time. Once I started I thought to myself, why not take a few pictures as I go through the draping process to share with my lovely Threaders’ on the blog Monday. So in anticipation of Draping/Constructing DIY week I am going to share a little teaser of what’s to come on My Daily Threadz! I hope you enjoy the pics and stay tuned because it’s about to go Down!

Working on several other versions of the cowl neckline to share! Stay Tuned!
