“Sometimes the simplest things are the most profound”
~Carolina Herrera~
Well dear sew family, schools back in session, work is as busy as ever and things with My Daily Threadz couldn’t be any better. In case you didn’t notice given my intro statement I’m in a really good place! Busy for sure but definitely a really good space! There’s so much to be thankful for and so much to share about what’s going on with MDT and the redecorating of my home that I’m not even sure where to start.
As a new blogger I've learned that sometimes its best to keep certain things to myself at least until things are ready to roll out. On the other hand there’s things I just can’t help but share right away for fear that I might BURST if I don't! LOLL When I left you last I shared my ideas for redecorating my home room by room. Well loves I want you to know I didn’t waste any time getting started in fact that very night my daughter and I created the complete look book for the entire project and decided her room would be a great way to start. Needless to say we had a blast this weekend painting, building and most of all shopping for things that would bring the vision we had for her room to life.
Now before I share the few pictures I did remember to take let me apologize for not remembering to take more detailed step by step pictures of everything we’ve accomplished thus far. It’s so hard trying to remember to take pictures for the blog during this process when all I think about is getting things done! LOL I will however make a conscious effort to do better with taking pictures so I can share the full experience with all of you as we continue with our project. In the meantime I did manage to get some shots of our progress and I can’t wait to hear what you all think about the direction we’re headed in. Enjoy the rest of your week loves and yes I promise to sneak some sewing in there for my next post! LOL
Hugs
Shari
