Hello Sewing Family it’s Monday and I just had my coffee so let’s get this party started. I would love to be able to report that I had a weekend filled with loads of fabulous sewing projects but unfortunately I cannot! Not because I tried and failed but simply because I just didn’t feel like it! LOLL I mean the weather in Cali this past weekend was so beautiful that I just wanted to get out and let the sun kiss my face! So while I had great sewing intentions for this past weekend I was determined to walk away from the studio and simply enjoy myself for a change.
Anyhoo today’s post is going to be quick and easy which if you know me is no easy task! LOL As I shared last week I decided to make a few off the shoulder items with the intent of having my photographer take a few pics for me to post on the blog this week. Needless to say our schedules didn’t quite work out so I had my sister take a few quick shots yesterday to post on the blog today. This cute little jumper is an oldie but goodie not to be confused with the green dolman sleeve jumper I made last year.
Sometimes ITY knits can be a little difficult to work with so you have to take your time and put your patience hat on! LOLI swear the only thing that helped maintain my sanity while sewing this jumpsuit was my trusty SERGER!! So Thank YOU Sister Girl (name for my serger) for saving the day and my sanity! The good news is, the jumpsuit turned out fine and the even better news is I will be sharing this fabric with you via a Give-away soon!
