With the week coming to a close and the promise of more rain in southern California this weekend I'm ready to settle into my studio and get some work done. Yes rain is on the way again this weekend and I for one am happy about it! LOL Not just because we need the rain in Cali but for some reason cooler weather inspires me to create. I swear whenever I hear that rain and cooler forecasts are on the horizon I feel psyched about going in the studio and getting things done. Or maybe it's the thought of finally being able to wear a fabulous coat, some amazing boots or a warm and fuzzy scarf that gets me hyped! Wherever this sudden spark comes from I welcome it and I can't wait to get in the studio and create something for Fall!

Now I'm not sure what I'm going to create this weekend but I can guarantee it will be something WARM! LOL Regardless of what it is my point is I feel inspired and I can't wait to make some magic happen. In the meantime loves enjoy the pics of another draped wrap top I made last weekend with a matching print neoprene pencil skirt. The Pattern I draped had to be adjusted as I decided to use a fabulously expensive wool (instead of the black knit shown earlier in the week) that I purchased from a downtown Los Angeles vendor last year. The color of this wool is a deep wine and it is the absolute BIZNESS! While I know it's a shot in the dark, I'm going back down there this weekend in the off chance that the vendor has some leftover, that is if I can remember which store I purchased it from. LOL Oh well I'm going anyway so wish me luck loves until next time have an awesome weekend.
