It Takes a VILLAGE to Rock the Keira Ramel Pattern!
~Says Me~
Hello sewing loves I'm back with a whole lot of fabulousness for you today! Today I'm sharing the fabulous beauties who participated in the Keira Ramel Jumpsuit Pattern Tour. Over the past several weeks I was inspired by Eryn Shields of the blog Style Sew Me to have a pattern collaboration with some of my favorite sewing bloggers. These fabulous ladies agreed to use the Keira Ramel pattern to create a look, give an honest review of their experience with the pattern via a blog post and share their creations across several social media platforms. I have to say I was completely blown away by the awesomeness of what these Sewing beauties created. These ladies are stars in the sewing/blogging world so to have them work with me to bring my vision for this pattern to life was an honor.
When you have a chance if you haven't already please take some time out to visit their blogs and read about their experience with the Keira Ramel Pattern! I have posted direct links to their information below their photo's for quick and easy access to their work. Trust me you won't regret getting to know these ladies (via their blogs) and you'll be richly blessed by the knowledge they so selflessly share with the sewing community. Until next time loves enjoy the rest of your week and HAPPY SEWING to you all!
Hugs
This fabulous beauty is Mori the daughter of Michelle Morris from the blog "That Black Chic" I love the exposed zipper and wide cuff Michelle added to the pattern! I want this jumpsuit in this very fabric for myself! LOLL This was Michelle's second time working with the pattern and was her contribution as a fabricista for Fabric Mart Fabrics. We love it Michelle and Mori truly Rocked Keira OUT! Go Check Michelle out Here
Ahhh the fabulous Eryn Shields of Style Sew Me Rocking the transformed Keira Pattern as a dress! CAN YOU SAY YESSSSSS! Eryn reached out to me and asked if I was okay with her mixing it up a little for the tour and of course I said GO FOR IT! So to see her finished dress using the Keira bodice was an awesome surprise! I have to say one more time YESSSSS Eryn YESSSSSS we love it! Go check Eryn out on her blog Here
What can I say, there is something so special about Alethia Hudson and I truly love this Lady here! When I tell you she has encouraged my heart not only with her sewing but on a personally level as well I truly mean it! She is such a beautiful person inside and OUT that people are naturally drawn to her! So asking her to participate in the pattern tour with me was an absolute no brainer! Looking at this fabulous Royal blue piece of art are any of you surprised that she would be someone I wanted for this tour. We love the way she closed up the center front displaying another option for those who want a less revealing neckline. Alethia used a royal blue scuba knit for her version and can you say SLAY! I love this lady I truly do and trust me once you get to know her you will too! Go check out her blog "Sew Alethia" Here
Mama There goes That Black Chic Again! Yes it's the fabulous Mori rocking her Mama's casual version of the Keira jumpsuit pattern in a sweatshirt fleece fabric. Michelle wanted to test the pattern before deciding what direction she wanted to go and created this version to test the waters. Little did she know everyone would fall in love with her casual version of the jumpsuit. We love how michelle mixed it up with the fab necklace and wait for it..................Chuck Taylor Converse! Why yes those are Chucks and we LOVE THEM! Talk about versatility! Thank you Michelle for always pushing the envelope and making things happen! You are truly one of our SEWING SHERO'S and we love you for being YOU! Don't forget to check Michelle out HERE
Lastly you all know me and instead of doing an entire post about my million make of the pattern (chuckles deeply) I decided to join these sewing/blogging beauties and post my contribution here. For this version of the jumpsuit I decided to raise the waistband and change the bottoms to my Nina Ramel Split front Jogger pants. While I actually love the way it turned out I think for my next one I'm going to get rid of the gathers, keep the bottom and make it in.... ooops it's a surprise! I will say that you can bet your last money it's gone be a stone gas honey (in my Don Cornelius voice) so hold tight for that coming up. LOLL
For everyone inquiring about the re-release of the pattern they are completing the final touches on the algorithm and preparing it for download by the end of the week. If all goes well with testing after all changes have been uploaded we will be ready to resume sales in 7-10 days!
