"Confidence is the ability to feel beautiful without needing someone to tell you"

Good Monday morning sewing family! I'm here to bring you something awesome today with the newly released Anitra Jumpsuit Pattern by Style Sew Me. As with most others this weekend was an extremely busy one for me filled with several urgent projects I needed to get done but I somehow managed to get through them all and finish this beauty in the process. I have to say I'm a big fan of Eryn's patterns so when she reached out to me to give this one a try I was more than happy to do so. Eryn has brought us some truly stylish yet easy patterns over the past year but this Anitra Jumpsuit is quickly becoming my all time favorite from her. If you are looking for a multi versatile piece that you can rock all summer long this baby is definitely what you want!
Now those who follow me know I've never been a fan of working with Jersey or ITY knits but sometimes when the fabulousness calls for it you have to break it out and get to work. The Anitra jumpsuit pattern is phenomenal for so many reasons but the fact that there are only six pattern pieces is definitely something I'm a fan of. Eryn has included a booklet of instruction for you to follow but if you're more of a visual learner she also has a step by step video tutorial to help walk you through it. As an independent pattern designer myself I have to say having both written and video instructions packaged with each pattern is a plus, so way to go with that too Eryn!
If your not a fan of styles with a dropped/draped crotch I believe the Anitra Jumpsuit just might change that for you. The all around drape of this jumpsuit is lovely and airy which I truly appreciate as a resident of Southern California. Not to mention the fabulously sexy splits that are truly giving me all sorts of life! I urge you as I do with all patterns to consider the various options one could merge with the pattern to create several different looks. I'm telling you I can see the Anitra pattern taking on a life of it's own this summer and I plan on making two more versions of this jumpsuit myself switching out the top, so you may want to stay tuned for that.
Sewing this jumpsuit was easy peezy, the pictorial instructions were straight forward and I was able to follow them with no problem. No matter your sewing skill level the Anitra jumpsuit is something everyone can partake in making. All in all I have to thank Eryn for not only reaching out to me to try the Anitra Jumpsuit but for also forcing me to get past my love hate relationship with Jersey and ITY knits! LOLL Thanks so much Eryn and way to go with this one!
Hugs
