“Time changes everything.” That’s what people say, but it’s not really true. Doing things changes things. Not doing things leaves things exactly as they were. So approach the start of each day with one goal and end the day with one word: DONE!

Yesterday as I was preparing for this weekend’s photo shoot, I happened to glance over at my cutting table and was mortified by the sheer number of unfinished projects laying there. As a rule I usually don’t cut anything new until I've completed the projects that are already cut. However since I started blogging my mind seems to be in overdrive flooded with ideas I don't want to lose. So I find myself drafting, sketching and sometimes cutting pieces out to avoid losing the ideas in my head once the moment has passed. The problem with this plan is I’m so busy these days that my cutting table keeps growing but nothing is being completed!
As a result I’ve decided not to cut another garment until everything on my table is complete! Just as the quote above says I want to end my day knowing that not only did I start the projects in my head but I was able to complete them as well. Now does this mean I will complete every project the same day I start it? Probably not! It does however mean that I’ve reached my table capacity for now and I won’t cut another pattern until I finish what I’ve already started!
Here are some pics of what my table looks like now and a couple more shots we took this past weekend of a fit & flare skirt in a Periwinkle color which I love!
Have a wonderful Weekend & Happy Easter to you all!
