Okay so I know you’re probably wondering why I’m posting to the blog on Thursday especially when it’s not one of my usual days. Well due to the Holiday this past Monday I’m a little off this week and I had to figure out a way to catch up! So instead of posting on Friday I decided to post one of my flashback looks today until I get back on track.

So today I’m sharing one of my favorite items a black and gold metallic circle skirt I made some time ago. I love the versatility of this skirt and how it can easily transfer from day to evening making it easy to leave work to go hang out with friends.

If you’re interested in creating this skirt or something similar without having to draft it from scratch New Look has a fabulous Project runway skirt pattern (see pics for details) that I absolutely adore and would work beautifully for this look. You can use New Look Project Runway Work Room Pattern 6056, the waist does run small so keep that in mind if using woven fabrics with no give!
