"Your dresses should be tight enough to show you're a woman and loose enough to show you're a lady."
~Edith Head~
Good morning my lovely Threaders I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and that you took the time to honor the wonderful men & women in our armed forces during this memorial holiday weekend. While I did enjoy the weekend I’m so glad to be back blogging with you today.
As you know, I try my best not to blog or get caught up in social media on the weekends in order to spend as much time with my family as I possibly can. Every now and again I will cheat and sneak on Facebook or Instagram really quickly but for the most part I try to stick to my guns. Consequently by the time Monday rolls around I’m ready and anxious to check in with everyone and see what wonderful projects my sew family has completed.
I really didn’t get a chance to sew very much at all this weekend but I did make two new jumpsuits that I look forward to sharing with you sometime next week. In the meantime in honor of it being a short work week I decided to share this Yellow Burda dress that I absolutely LOVE! I’ve never really been a big fan of wearing yellow because I felt it had a tendency to wash me out; however after researching more about my skin tone I’ve since changed my mind. I swear wearing this dress is like wearing a little piece of sunshine! I’m so glad I decided to venture out of my comfort zone and invite yellow into my life!
Hugs
