"Wherever You Go No Matter What the Weather Always Bring Your Own Sunshine!"

Today is such an awesome day lovelies and I’m so glad to be sharing it with you! I’m happy to report that I’m back and have fully recovered from all the drafting/sewing blunders I encountered last week. Although it was quite trying it was definitely a learning experience that I will not soon forget. I’ve decided to give up watching ID television while sewing and opt for music instead! LOL When it was all said and done I fixed what I could, moved on from what I couldn't and now I’m back in the saddle working hard to transform my ideas for spring into creative wearable garments.
My sewing studio is filled with color and might I add I LOVE it that way! I’m bursting at the seams with Hot pinks, hues of blue, lavender, orange and Yellow. There’s nothing like soft yet vibrant colors to refresh your soul and get you ready for everything spring has to offer. It’s as if my mind has been washed clean of the deep hues of Fall and renewed with the freshness that only Spring can bring. I’m thoroughly excited about the pieces I’ve been working on and I hope that somehow they inspire you to put your Spring thinking caps on and get busy creating your own fabulous looks.
The first Item I completed last week was this fantastically chic lavender jumpsuit that I decided to drape/draft on my own. The top was pretty easy and didn’t give me any real issues but the pants, now that’s another story. I had a couple of fit issues in the hip and crotch areas but thankfully was able to address them and make it work (In my Tim Gunn Voice). I’ll also admit that initially I wasn’t too fond of this particular color knit but the more I played around with it the more it grew on me. In the end I was pleased with the way things turned out and with the exception of a tweak here and there I would definitely make this jumpsuit again. Here’s to a fabulous rest of the week family as I officially kick off the M.D. Threadz ideas for Spring.
BIG HUGS

This entire jumpsuit was draped/drafted by yours truly! Stay tuned I hope to do a tutorial for those interested in making this jumpsuit sometime next month!
Okay my feet were sinking in the grass so I took my shoes off at this point!
