Don’t wait for the world to Recognize Your Greatness, Live it and let the world catch up to YOU!
Happy Throwback Thursday Loves! I hope the last half of your week is turning out better than mine! When I tell you it has been one heck of a sewing week at M.D. Threadz and not in a good way I actually mean it. Over the past two days I've experienced blunder after blunder with my patterns so much so that I sat in my chair and had a great big laugh at myself. Seriously I stood in that studio trying to figure out how and why certain garments didn’t fit, blaming it on my weight, the fabric, and my scissors everything but ME! LOL Yes family I had to take a step back and actually laugh at myself on this one. I guess that’s what happens when you try to watch ID television when you cut out your patterns.
Of course once I figured out what happened I did everything in my power to try and fix the garments. Thankfully I was able to save the first item but it doesn’t look to good for the second! I love this fabric so much that I refuse to give up without a fight so the battle continues on until I figure out a way to utilize this fabric without having to throw it out. So while I continue to work through my sewing issues I decided to celebrate Throwback Thursday in full force. As I was going through my pictures I realized just how many wonderfully vibrant colors I used last year to make several of my sewing projects. I thought it would be fun to pick out some picks from last year that are reminiscent of the beautiful colors currently popping up for Spring/Summer in 2015.
Yes family I found pictures of me wearing Yellow, Orange, Blue, Green and Pink all the colors I look forward to using this Spring. I’m not sure if this is a good thing or bad but if you know me then you understand it really doesn’t matter because I’m going to make and wear whatever I LIKE! I refuse to govern myself by what others dictate, I’m going to do, sew and rock items that I love regardless! After all isn't that why they call it personal style? Oh well I hope you enjoy the pictures family and thanks for being so patient with me through it all. Have a wonderful rest of the week and remember turn the television OFF! LOL
Big Hugs
