The air is filled with the fragrant scent of Springs perfume as the sun kisses my cheeks and its ray of vibrant colors are in full bloom. Hello loves so glad to be here on the blog sharing my ray of sunshine and inspiration for the Spring with you. While I know some of my sewing loves are still weathering through the heaviness of Winter I thought it would be nice to try and warm your hearts with a little bit of M.D. Threadz Springiration (spring/inspiration). So no matter where you are or what weather you're experiencing today, come and take a little ride with me down Vibrant color lane.
As I’m sure many of you know by now, last week I encountered a couple of pattern drafting issues with pieces I made for Spring. Of course there were items that I simply could not save but I did manage to work through a couple of issues to salvage the two pieces I'm sharing with you today. The problems I encountered were a result of my miscalculation during the actual drafting process. Needless to say despite my issues with the patterns I'm happy to report that the garments actually turned out well. If nothing else I've learned one valuable lesson “PAY ATTENTION!” Take it from me, no matter how long you’ve been doing a certain task anything can happen when you’re preoccupied. Anyhoo I made corrections to the actual patterns for future use and now that the issues have been resolved I would definitely make these items again. I hope you enjoy the pictures and maybe just maybe they add a little ray of sunshine to your day.
Hugs
Shari
