Hello Loves I’m finally back with a new post for the week! So sorry for the late post but it’s been a really busy week and it doesn’t show any signs of slowing down any time soon. Getting prepared to offer items for purchase is more than a notion and it doesn’t help when you’re a perfectionist! I completed the designs I wanted for the line months ago but the more I play around with them the more I change. LOL Finally I had to stop myself realizing if I didn’t this process could go on forever!
Needless to say trying to make this line happen leaves very little time for anything else especially considering there are only 24 hours in a day. So in honor of all my sewing loves who happen to be short on time but still have to make things happen, here's a quick little jumper you can get done in no time. If you know anything about me you know I love anything off the shoulders so it should come as no surprise that I chose to whip up this stylish yet comfy jumper that can be worn off one or both shoulders. Of course this may look a little familiar to many of you who follow my blog especially considering I did something similar last year using a neutral color Ponte knit fabric. This time however I decided to make a jumper instead of a dress which required a few simple changes. With that being said I decided to use a different base pattern for the pants, I opened up the neckline quite a bit more and used a lighter more flexible stretch knit from Fabric Mart with a higher Lycra content called ITY knit.
In the end the tweaks I made paid off enhancing the overall drape, feel and comfort of this jumper. Of course no look is ever done without kicking it up with a cute bag, a few bobbles and a great pair of shoes! Since the jumper is so simple and can be styled UP or Down I thought it would be cool to kick things up a notch with what I call my chunky Run DMC gold neckwear and plenty of bangles. Well loves there you have it Quick, Simple and most of all it all works! Until next time happy sewing and stay tuned for more fabulous projects coming your way soon.
Hugs
