It's My Birthday Week and I'll Sew If I want Too!

Hello loves I hope this post finds you doing well!  This week I will be celebrating my birthday and as I usually do I set aside some alone time just to reflect on what was, what is and what I hope will be.  As Madam C.J Walker once said “It’s pretty hard for the Lord to guide you if you haven’t made up your mind which way you want to go.”  Every time I read this quote (which I wrote in my journal years ago) I smile and this determined strength seems to quicken in my spirit as I plan the next step of this My Daily Threadz journey.

There's so much I want to do and accomplish that sometimes I feel as if I’m going to burst! LOLL I swear it's scary but in a good way! Especially when I think of where this My Daily Threadz journey could actually lead me! The great thing about it is I have all of you to thank and ride along with me!  So this birthday represents my commitment to continuously hustle towards the goal with the same vigor as the day I typed and published my very first post.  While I’ve learned and grown a lot since that first post there is still this hunger to do and be better every year.  Yes I have a full time career that I enjoy very much but this journey feeds my creative soul and every time I sit down to speak with you that joy I felt almost two years ago returns.  So in the spirit of my birthday and all things My Daily Threadz I promise to do my very best to keep this fabulous creative party going! Who’s WITH ME?
